Such a great place to eat I went there for Valentine's Day and me and my boyfriend got two plates of carne asada. it's very authentic and taste wonderful.
Excellent food! Unique dishes that I've not had elsewhere, Nicaragua and Mexican food. Definitely recommend this place and will go again if I'm going through town.
This restaurant is a hidden gem. I recently ate here after a friend recommended it. I was surprised I hadn't been before, considering I've lived in Liberal for so many years. The food was so exquisitely prepared that it brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it. I have never craved a hasty return to a restaurant so much in my entire life. Remember that scene in Ratatouille where the food critic tastes the dish at the end and just closes his eyes to flash back to his childhood? That was me, tasting my meal at El Gallo Pinto. My life is changed. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. You are missing out if you have not tried it.
Best Latin American restaurant in town, the carne asada is the best.
Our first time to visit. This now our favorite Mexican /Nicaraguan restaurant. From the Nicaraguan grilled chicken, fried plantains, Mexican cheese enchiladas , Mexican chicken enchiladas and hard taco with beans we were pleasantly surprised with the freshness and quality . We at first thought the prices may be a little high but 3 of us have enough left over for a small meal. We received a combination of quality and value.
This place is always very good and the wait staff are friendly!
My six-year-old son absolutely loves this place and says we should give it 10 stars because it’s so delicious! He loves the egg burrito, and he also loves the fresh bread they make there to go with the menudo. Everything is incredibly tasty, and we love going there to eat breakfast. Highly recommended!
